week 4 childminder course

Another week completed this week we looked at safeguarding signs and symptoms that a child is being abused, what to do if abuse is suspected and working in partnership with other agencies. The governments guidance “working together to safeguard children” (2013) is a very useful resource. We have a lot of homework again anyone thinking of doing this course should be prepared for the amount of homeowrk that is required each week. i think i underestimated how intense it would be! I find it takes me a few hours to answer each question (some are quite long like essays, some are tables and charts) and there are around 5 questions each week. im not trying to put anyone off but its good to know before starting what the expectations are, so that things like childcare, employment and housework can be factored in.
